Although this is a flowery/butterfly kit as you can tell from my layout it works for boys and girls alike. Baby, Baby

Here is Scraps 'n Pieces newest kit, called Baby Baby. This is a great kit for scrapping some baby pictures, and will work well for both boys and girls. The kit is $2.50 for the first week and there is a special cardstock coupon code to get them for $1 with the purchase of the kit and cardstocks together. The code is SNPbbCS. It is that time once again. This week Scraps 'n Pieces has their Snow Much Fun Kit and the quick page pack that goes along with it in the bin. Smitten Alpha

So external hard drives are wonderful things, until you misplace it the day you need to post something that is only on that one little hard drive. Luckily I found it, but that's the reason for the late post. Today we have the alpha available for the Smitten kit. $2 Tuesdays and a Speed Scrap

This week for the $2 Tuesdays Scraps 'n Pieces has put their ties that bind kit in the bin. Remember all day Tuesday you can pick it up for that price. Also Nicole over at Digi-Designs is hosting a Speed Scrap tomorrow night at the Stuff To Scrap forum--if you have never tried one before it might be a good time to start.

Also starting the 20th - the 22nd all of the build a kit items from all of the designers will be put in a $1 bin. All the previews below will be everything that Scraps 'n Pieces will have for $1 during that sale.

Scraps 'n Pieces has released their newest kit. Rookie Behind the Wheel includes 15 papers, 53 elements and a full alpha. With the bright colors the kit works for every age of driver you can imagine. As always the kit is on sale for $2.50 this week and you can also get the matching cardstocks for 30% off for the next couple days that are left on the Valentine's Day sale at Stuff to Scrap. Smitten Backgrounds

With the release of our newest kit, Smitten, we have decided to start out with a new kind of freebie for us. We love, love, LOVE the way this kit turned out and we are both huge fans of the pink & brown color combination. So today we actually have two freebies to help make your computer a little bit cuter - a desktop background and a blog background with a header. We included instructions on how to install them in the previous post and also included instructions in with the downloads. So we hope you like these, and look for the papers on Thursday. Enjoy!!

Instructions for Installing Blog and Desktop Backgrounds

Directions for installing our blog background and header:

You need to set your blog template to MINIMA!(Remember that you aren't going to lose your widgets)
1. Click "Customize" at the top right corner of your signed in page
2. Click "Add a Gadget"
3. Find "HTML/Java Script" and click "Add to Blog"
4. It should say Configure HTML/Java Script. The HTML code you need for the background is below. Copy the entire code and paste it into that white box. Then, where it says **Direct Link** in the parenthesis you will copy and paste the link for the background you want to install. Make sure you leave the parenthesis.

When you have set the blog background, if you would like to add the header as well-

1. Open the .jpeg header file in whatever program you use (photoshop, etc.) and customize it to your liking.
2. Save your edited header.
3. Click "Edit" on the header bar (still in the customize menu of your blog)
4. Choose "Remove Image" if you currently have a header installed.
5. Select "Instead of Title and Description", and "Shrink to Fit".
6. Choose Upload Image from your computer, and browse to find your saved header.
7. Choose "Save"

If you also want to remove the small border that shows up around the header:

1. In the main "Customize" menu, click "Edit HTML"
2. Scroll down until you come to #header-wrapper
3. Find border: 1px solid $bordercolor;
4. Change the 1 to a 0 and save template

Whew! Still with us? Here is the info for how to change your desktop background:

Choose Desktop Background:
Desktop small designed at 1024 X 768
Desktop large designed at 1400 X 900

1. Choose the background you want depending on the size of your monitor (is it large or small?)
2. Open the .png and add the picture of your choice.
3. Save as a .jpeg
4. Right click and choose option 'Set as Desktop Background'.

Baseball Softball WordArt

In an effort to make up for my slacking ways the other day I am making sure to keep this up before Thursday. Today we have the last of our Baseball/Softball kit--a good variety of wordart. All quotes are done to fit either softball or baseball and then just some general wordart. Make sure to come back Tuesday to pick up the paper from our newest kit. Got Game Baseball Words

I can't believe how late it is and I am barely getting to this post--the day has evaporated away!! Well today we have some great baseball/softball words. Some are grungy some regular but there should be the perfect combination for everyone. My Life $2 Tuesdays and so so much more

It feels as though I say this EVERY Tuesday but there is an awful lot going on this week for Scraps 'n Pieces. First of all Scraps 'n Pieces teamed up with Amanda from Nibbles Skribbles for their new kit. It is called My Life and it goes along My Life Challenge that is going on over at the Stuff to Scrap Forum. Although I enjoy all the kits we get to make pages out of this kit is one of my ABSOLUTE favorites and I love the page I was able to make out of it. If you are even considering buying the kit I would head on over RIGHT NOW because it is in the $2 bin for today only it will be $2.50 starting tomorrow and then be back up to the regular $3.50 price next week. The Febuary build a kit is in the Stuff to Scrap Store. Each month the designers use the same color pallette to create you the best kit. You can pick and choose whose elements, papers or alphas you like best and build your own kit.
